Senate District 7

Kathy McClain on Senate District 7:

After twelve years of service as the Assemblywoman representing District 15, I'm now running for the open Senate District 7 seat. Because almost all of Assembly 15 overlaps Senate 7, this is really a continuation of the work I've been doing.

I'm fortunate to know many of the people and the issues here in our area, and I'm working hard to help make the best part of Las Vegas a decent place to live, raise a family, open a business, or retire.

Here's a map of District 7. If you aren't sure you live within the boundaries, or if you want to check to make sure you are registered to vote, just scroll down under the map for more information.

The site will confirm whether you are registered and even tell you who your current elected officials are.  If you are not registered, there’s information right there to help you register so you can vote.

Election dates, polling locations, information about early voting and much more can be found on the Clark County Election Website link above.

One note of explanation:  When you find Senate District 7 information, you will see my friend Senator Terry Care listed.  Senator Care’s seat expires on Election Night 2010.  Because of term limits, Senator Care cannot run for re-election, and I am running for the seat he will leave open.
